Walk to Victory 2017: Support Kessler Foundation’s Team Reeve 24-hour Walk to Victory over Paralysis event on November 3-4, 2017. Kessler Foundation and Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation will join 10 other centers around the country to participate in the 24-hour Walk to Victory over Paralysis to benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation NeuroRecovery Network and Locomotor Training Clinic. The Walk will take place at the Kessler campus, located at 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ.
Current and former patients who have a spinal cord injury (SCI) will walk on a body-weight supported treadmill, as their families, friends and Kessler staff walk alongside them on a standard treadmill. Participants will keep the treadmills moving continuously for 24-hours, helping to raise awareness of SCI in the United States, and funds to support continued research.
