We Couldn't Have Asked For A Better Day (Vol. 7, Issue 7)

Dear Friend,

Many thanks for a wonderfully successful and special day. Over 600 people of all ages and abilities gathered on Sunday, September 24, in Verona Park for Kessler Foundation’s 16th Annual Stroll ‘N Roll, presented by Wakefern and Gibbons.

Together we raised more than $154,000 to advance rehabilitation research and employment initiatives that return people with disabilities to their homes, their communities, and the workplace. Thank you for your part in this tremendous success.

We are especially grateful while so many in Houston, Florida, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Mexico face disaster and hardship.  In solidarity, Kessler Foundation is supporting Portlight Inclusive Disaster Strategies, an organization that helps evacuate, shelter, and aid people with disabilities. Your generosity makes this happen.

Stroll ‘N Roll reminds us to focus on the abilities of every person, regardless of disability—it reminds us that abilities are what matter. All around the Park that day were examples. See more photos on our Facebook page.

Thank you for your help to change the lives of people with disabilities. Every gift has a direct and profound impact.

With gratitude,

Michele signature
